Meet The Team
Matthew Maillet
Matt's journey into construction began in his childhood, where he spent countless days assisting his dad with home remodeling projects. Throughout college, Matt worked as a laborer for a commercial paving company. He developed a passion for the industry, graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2020 with a degree in Building Construction & Technology. Following graduation, Matt took on the role of Project Manager/Estimator for a commercial construction company, managing projects up to $10 million. He also earned his Contractor's Supervisor License (CSL).
Driven by an interest in real estate investing, Matt embarked on a new journey in 2021, renovating several rental units. Here, he not only self-performed much of the work himself but also managed subcontractors and navigated the complexities of the permitting process. This experience led him to see the need for reliable and communicative contractors in the area, inspiring him to start M.J. Maillet Construction. Matt aims to bring integrity and clarity to the construction industry with his blend of education, hands on experience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
